Calling it a bubble is to miss the point. Go to where a community suits you, and where you suit the community. Where you can get what you want. I don’t want fights any more. I want facts, freedom and fun - peppered with interesting information. Is that a bubble? Maybe, but a good one. 4/4

There are many issues with Reform’s proposals for Royal Navy operations against small boats but chief among them is the fact it has already happened and didn't achieve the government's stated aims Operation Isotrope ran from 2022-23 as Channel crossings peaked inews.co.uk/news/world/n...

No, Farage, the Royal Navy can't stop small boats. This is why

Critics are already tearing apart Reform's plans to deploy British warships to intercept migrants in the Channel

🧵 What is REALLY happening at the Ceuta border in Spain? It is not just a migration crisis—it is a textbook example of hybrid warfare, where human movement is weaponized for geopolitical leverage to destabilise Europe. Here is a breakdown of the players 👇

Why is Ceuta a migration flashpoint and how were so many people able to cross from Morocco?

An estimated 50,000 people attempted the journey to the Spanish territory in chaotic and dangerous scenes that resulted in dozens of deaths

Anthropic not wanting to be left behind by OpenAI, I see... No doubt someone in their marketing department was crying into their coffee that OpenAI got there first...

BBC News headline: Anthropic's Claude AI escapes to hack into three organisations

She's not an "assistant," she's his carer. Remember the good-looking servant in Madness of King George? The one who was kind. She's him.

During the initial months of his second administration, #Trump began telling staff that "Nah-ta-lee," using the French pronunciation, "was the only one who loved him as much as his wife and his kids. "All of you will go off and make money," he would tell his other staffers. "She'll never leave me."

Covid lockdowns demonstrated, in a deeply imperfect way, the possibility of large-scale social solidarity for a higher cause. That is a prime reason why so many powerful people want us to run screaming away from them into the comforting arms of selfish individualist competition.

We've got to stop giving these grifters the benefit of the doubt and/or imagining they're stupid. Of course Braverman understands the law, she's a lawyer! She's misrepresenting the law to rile up her voters, because the anger is what keeps them engaged. It's a tactic. And it's not even new.

It is worth noting that Suella Braverman was the Attorney General, the government’s most senior legal advisor. One might have thought that, given her status, and regardless of politics, she should be competent at the law. But:

These people were victims of online disinformation; told Spain had opened its borders, and they could go work there. Once they were told it wasn't true, they returned. A gift to the far right & we must find out who was behind what is a form of hybrid warfare, meant to destabilise Spain and the EU.

Donating $120 million could have an impact. But Musk is worth around $700,000 million. So this is a tiny, inconsequential amount for him – loose change. He risks nothing. And this is global. Democracy will not survive these monsters. He can keep throwing the facism dart, until he hits somewhere.
