Perfection! don't know why but I have always loved hares and have them reproduced in many art forms: wool, ink, paint, pottery. And green is my favourite colour.

Preparations are underway in Gaza for the funeral procession of over 100 martyrs from the Abu Sharia and Hasayna families in the Sabra neighborhood. They perished in one of the largest massacres witnessed since the beginning of the war.

Excellent, wide-ranging discussion. Lots here about agency and structure, e.g. how the language we use simultaneously removes our agency & reduces our sense that structural remedies could actually be effected.

I did an interview with the fab @hardeepmatharu.bsky.social from @bylinetimes.bsky.social and here it is, for those who have not yet heard my lengthy discourse on why genAI often sucks, why techbros definitely suck, and why a U16 social media ban is downright stupid: bylinetimes.com/2026/07/21/t...

Nour Odeh exposes the staggering scale of Zionist land theft. Israel has built 104 new illegal settlements and demolished over 5,400 Palestinian homes! The establishment is completely silent on this massive ethnic cleansing campaign.🤬🤬🤬

Fabulous and so very much worth the read. "AI is the asbestos we're shoveling into the walls of our civilization and our descendants will be digging it out for generations."

Once again the EU's Digital Markets Act helps to protect European consumers, in this case fining Google almost €900 million for infringements of EU rules. More than ever, regulation of Big Tech matters. www.politico.eu/article/eu-f...

The European Council has given its final green light to a major overhaul of EU air passenger rights, starting a 12-month countdown for airlines to prepare and adopt the new rules. Watch the video #EuXl

John Healey in No 11 is a stroke of political genius. Money & mouths. Will also be interesting to see what's now demanded from DoD & the military in terms of smart, efficient working to help make those sums work. In a hybrid war environment, education is a vital component & needs funding. We'll see.

One consequence of the churn in No 10 in the last 2 decades is that today seems all too familiar, even mundane. For a country where stability, tradition and ceremony has meant so much, this suggests a significant shift in the sense of British self has occurred - and in a rather under-regarded way.

If you’re wondering why UK press has suddenly woken up to Farage, please read this. It’s because: Brexit. The r/w press refused to scrutinise the money behind Farage & the lawsuit against me scared off the rest. But this isn’t a new scandal. It’s the same one I’ve been reporting on for a decade

NEW: Who funds Nigel Farage? And why has it taken till now for any journalistic scrutiny? @carolecadwalla.bsky.social who has tracked him for a decade exposes how the UK press & regulators looked the other way 🧵👇
