Last week, we learnt that our university management is planning to cut our 3rd professorship in Social & Cult. Anthropology. This would have fatal consequences for our Institute at the FU Berlin and our discipline in the German speaking countries. We will struggle against this and hope for support!

Exzellenz, aber mehr so gefühlt: Die Exzellenzstrategie wird gehyped ohne Ende — was fehlt, ist 1 empirische Basis, wie @nnwiss.bsky.social eindrücklich zeigt. Trotzdem wird irre viel Zeit & Geld in diesen Hyperwettbewerb gesteckt, die fehlen für Forschung & Lehre in der Breite. #ExitExzellenz wann?
