#GenCon is almost complete. Had a pretty good time, but 2/5 events that I scheduled to run only had 2 players show up, even though the games sold out when tickets were available. Very disappointed with that, but the ones with full tables were great. Biggest let down was the Dragonlance game /1

Controversial opinion: professional miniature painters that post WIP pics with individual parts immaculately painted and the rest of the mini in unblemished black primer are the same as curated booty pics from fitness influencers. Unrealistic and not representative of 99% of actual experiences.

Fellow crafters, when building miniature terrain pieces, it's wise to make the modular pieces small enough to fit into standard size storage totes. Hint, they're all a LOT narrower than you would think. 75 gallon totes are the same width as 24 gallon totes.

I ran a second playtest of my Dragonlance 2e game for Gen Con. It was a great time, I have a few kinks to work out, but I think it'll be a great scenario for a convention game.
