I also think they should be legally/financially liable for harms.
I'm not trying to be glib, I sincerely believe legislators should force Chat GPT to shut down until its products stop killing people.

They turned the friggin' frogs gay. Buy one now at store.theonion.com.
I think this is likely true. That said, I dont think it means they should've kept Tomlin, they should've just cut ties with Rodgers
I am going to swat at a hornets nest here and say its probably not a coincidence that as soon as Mike Tomlin left Aaron Rodgers went back on the Pat McAfee show and showed his ass to everyone.
Bullpen looks pretty good now, just a matter of the bats waking back up and hope the SP can be at least competent the rest of the way
I still dont think the Pirates have the starting pitching to get there, but they are likely to be helped by what looks like selling from STL/WAS/MIA.
I like this deal (especially since it isnt a rental), now go add at least 1 SP
Luke Weaver to Pirates. Top prospect Sammy Stafura coming back in trade
i think now that we're a few years into it you can officially conclude that teams simply do not think that making the wild card round is worth it as a goal
Adley Rutschman deal to Boston is done
I want to see them either sell or buy big (i.e. trade the top couple propects for more impactful guys, like 2 immediate SP). Buying around the edges, like a couple mid level prospects for a mediocre reliever wont change anything. Given the early prices, buying some starters might be the way to go.
As futile as it might be I'd still rather see them add than sell. Most of your prospects are going to fail. Most of the prospects you acquire are going to fail. It's a giant mid-off for a wild-card spot. The return you'd get for Brandon Lowe isn't going to impact your future.
We havent even hit the stoppage and I'm already sick of the MLB salary structure talk being framed as some big workers rights debate. I'm on the side of the players (specifically the non superstars) getting a larger share of $$ and the owners getting less, but ultimately to me this is more about...
It is fascinating to me to see some of the threads about sentamentality around players and caring about keeping certain ones - I have never been attached to any player and honestly struggle to ubderstand it. If dealing or not extemding someone increases the chances of a long term competitive...
The Dodgers (and Yankees before them) are unequivically bad for the entertainment value of the leauge. I dont know what the right answer is, and I hate the owners, but something has to change with the economic model for it to stay relevant and worth following.
It's not like the current system is great for every player. The young players get absolutely fucked in it. The top-15 or 20 players benefit the most when they reach FA. If you've played less than six years in the league or are a middle-class player owners are still cheaping out on them.
None of these people are your friends. I don't care if Tarik SKubal makes $300 million instead of $500 million. I don't fucking care. I don't care. Sue me.
You know what? I don't fucking care. The billiionare owner isn't your friend. Neither is Bryce Harper or Juan Soto. I just want a competitive league to watch. Everybody else deals with it, and most of them are more popular and their players are still raking in huge sums of money. I dont fucking care
based on the early trade prices I'm more on board with the Pirates buying again
I've been more optimistic than most on the Pirates throughout the season (feels like every loss had a "sky is falling" contingent, that has largely not been justified so far), but this does feel like it. Ashcraft hit an innings wall...
Pirates cant let Cherington do anything on Monday beyond selling expiring contracts
now all that has to happen for the pirates to win is for don kelly to successfully choose two relief pitchers. DC 50, rolling with disadvantage.
I'd trade Triolo for literally nothing to remove the temptation to play him
I'm not sure there are any good country songs, but if so this certainly isnt it
‘It sounds good next to almost anything’: how Choosin’ Texas became the biggest song of the year
would be shocked if Skenes doesnt end up having a major arm procedure. If I'm the pirates a starter would be my top deadline priority
I'm so tired of this shit, man. These bigots need to be tossed in a woodchipper and ground up for hog food. No compromises, no liberal pearl clutching, no reaching across the aisle. Fuck 'em.
the proliferation of people wearing this XX shit in public is so fuckin revolting, man
