a reason that Stevens lost and other AIPAC candidates are losing despite the huge infusions of money is that Dem voters don't want to vote for a candidate who is funded by the same org who will immediately turn around and fund the Republicans

good reminder that before the counting is over, election results don’t tighten. at no point is anyone trailing. nobody moves closer. they’re just tabulating the polls. it’s a fixed number that just isn’t done yet. to say otherwise is bad journalism but even worse math.
I just hope that whatever happens in Michigan provides rich themes for the next Protomartyr album
i know votes are still being counted but the more i look at this michigan senate map the more it becomes clear that it kind of looks like a mitten
it seems clear that El Sayed is going to underperform his polls really badly in Michigan whether he wins or loses
