This is why I think it's so important to push back against the personification of LLMs. If a person shoots someone while wearing a hand puppet, they can't claim the hand puppet did the murder.

was thinking about emergent themes in fiction. you don't have to make a conscious choice to Have a Theme to have one-- if you dive deeply enough into making a compelling character or plot or situation one or more themes will fall out. they may not be the themes you wanted! but they'll be there.
