So many, many refugees will face a 30 year wait for settlement, all while facing reviews every 2.5 years.
Also, even those of us who already are “safe” feel that this is one of the “but for the grace of god there go I” moment. Which does things to your psychological safety, which a lot of people don’t seem to understand

October was the deadliest month of the war for the Russians so far with an estimated 54,400 Russian casualties. Russia also net lost territory to Ukraine during this month.
