I make VR games as accessible as possible through design, research, and playtesting! Senior UX Research Specialist @OwlchemyLabs.com #GamesAccessibility #XR #A11y #ADHD This gamer is also a pastel color enthusiast, crafter, and a libra ✨ ⚖️
If you want full time or freelance work in game accessibility you need to be obvious. People looking for future hires, either full time or freelance are always keeping aware of names, skillsets, expertise to fill gaps in their knowledge. You have to be present or you'll miss out on opportunities.
OMG Please also vote for Liana if you want to support us nominees ! She's such an amazing and deserving person that I am truly lucky to work with and learn from 💜
Resharing only because it's the last day of voting. Haven't really shared much because tbh many better candidates deserve the W more than me. I WILL SAY, though, that you should def vote for my girl @jc-3d.bsky.social who is up nominee for Impact Through Education! WELL DESERVED!
A few weeks ago we shared this news from @owlchemylabs.com, about new accessibility features in Dimensional Double Shift. Now they've released gameplay trailers, including this one with audio description! www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWHx...

Hii #GDC2016! Claire Rice @kadorice.bsky.social and I from @owlchemylabs.com will be roaming the expo floor today with our vegan coffees and tea. We'd love for you to say hi!! Especially if you like UX, XR, Accessibility, and cute sparkly things!!
Such a beautiful day at #GDC2026! If I'm not in a session, I'll be out in the garden. Please say "Hi!" if you see me. I'm wearing green pants and a pink sweater. I'd love to talk about games, XR, and video game accessibility!
Yay XR Accessibility! So proud of our new Snap Turn feature. It was developed when snap turn was exactly what I needed. I had surgery, resulting in frequent down time, and this feature allowed me to playtest from bed without needing to turn my body. Owning this project made it much more meaningful.
New Accessibility Feature! With our NEW Snap Turn feature enabled you can pivot your perspective with a simple button pinch giving you the power to rotate the world, not yourself. But wait, there’s more: ow.ly/PwE350YpIwS
Gamedev pro tip: sometimes you just need to add a butthole (Alex said I could post this... unredacted)
I'm nominated for an Impact Through Education award @thegamehers.bsky.social! My commitment to making XR for Everyone, empowered by @owlchemylabs.com, surfaces through projects, blogs, and talks that show others how we make XR more accessible to people with disabilities. Creating impact is my goal 🧵
This article contains really good insights on designing for hand tracking and accessibility! It features some of my coworkers, including Emma Atkinson, Marc Huet, and @gaalexxy.bsky.social. They're super cool so check it out if you like XR 🙌🏼

Happy #NationalInternDay to Owlchemy's Summer 2025 Interns, June, Joseph, and Patricio. Instead of learning the ropes, we gave them the rope and let them create their very own one-of-a-kind project. Meet our 2025 Interns and learn about their projects here: owlchemylabs.com/blog/owlchem...
Day 2 of the XR Access Symposium! @peterjgalbraith.com and I are here to learn about the latest research in XR accessibility to bring back to our team, @owlchemylabs.com, and to chat about games accessibility with fellow attendees! Please say hi if you see or hear us 😊 #XRAccess2025

Another VR design insight. Embodiment! Your players want to be themselves role playing as someone in your world. They don’t want to be a “named character”. Don’t do a “voice in head” instead the world should react to how they choose to play. Even if it’s not the “golden path”.
I'm super excited for this talk happening today at 11:30AM! Daniel and Michael are fantastic and their talk will be fantastic as well 👂🏼✨
The Owlchemy Labs at #GDC Adventure continues! Join Daniel Perry and Michael Kim for a special look at Audio in Dimensional Double Shift, with their postmortem talk, tomorrow. Join them at 11:30am PT in room 3018 of the West Hall.

Today was Long Covid Awareness Day. Main thing I want to say is I do think training us to abandon each other to permanent disability helped pave the path to fascism we’re now speeding down. Popping on a mask at the grocery store won’t cure all, but it’s one way to interrupt the eugenicist project.
