I hate when one claims to be pro-law-enforcement and also wish to send the cops after people who have committed no crimes, but just happen to do something you don’t like. Doubly so for wishes to send ICE, because that’s a much more specific and disgusting kind of threat.

Proposed: everyone must establish that they have legitimately and logically thought about an issue for more than 48 seconds before voicing an opinion on it in social media. Signal to noise ratio would improve _immediately._

There's a not insubstantial portion of Americans who truly believe balls to bone that you can't lie on the news. I have older relatives that will literally scold on that when you push back on wrong information...because it was on television. Sure, print can lie, the National Inquirer is trash

Fauci needs to sue this man into bankruptcy, if only to dissuade the other inveterate liars of this administration.

Things I’ve learned (so far) about having cancer, an evolving list: 1. More people can rock a bald head than think they can 2. Being told to eat more when you have no appetite/no sense of taste is some fucking cruel irony 3. “I have to outlive that shitstain in the WH“ is a surprisingly common goal

I’m genuinely surprised that freedom loving America had a bunch of states just outlaw Pornhub and the general reaction was just “meh, I’ll use a VPN” and not “obviously this is the beginning of an evangelical theocratic reign of censorship and oppression and we will not stand for it.”

A new op-ed in the Washington Times finally says the quiet part out loud: Fascism demands sexual repression. "Pornography corrodes the exact social foundation that supports national strength... A society marked by loneliness, weakened families and diminished social trust becomes brittle."

Headline from the Washington Times. "Pornography: A National Security Threat"

1. In recent months, we have seen California governor throw trans people under the bus for political points. Now, one of the leading Dems in the race for CA Gov. has said "enough," and has fully embraced trans athletes and rights. He condemns capitulation. Read our latest story.

CA Gov Candidate Tom Steyer Calls Out Dems Capitulating On Trans People: "I'm Totally In Favor Of Trans Athletes"

This is one of the most significant statements from a candidate in the CA governors race in support of trans people.
