This is a game about carefully crafting a gear and weapon build you're familiar with, which you will get to test in fifteen-second increments before you get a knife in the ribs and have to wait several minutes in the loading queue.
"Oh, you shot a gun? You made some NOISE? Classic rookie mistake, thinking this was a game about shooting guns. It is though. Anyway, get murdered, idiot."
I'm rabidly pro-Marathon and have played this game way too much, but it's wild that it shipped without a way to practice shooting a gun without visiting doom upon your household for seven generations.
This order is thoroughly - and deservedly - brutal. Like bring popcorn levels of brutal.
