I want everyone dependent on ChatGPT out of the workplace. I sincerely believe they should be in some sort of adult night school that teaches them how to write and think.
I have one answer.

Tonight we find out whether Michigan voters are bluesky posters or bluesky replyers
Every famous person is an asshole.
Cat Power is antivax
Today marks a very special day in science fiction literature. May I present to you, "There Will Come Soft Rains" by Ray Bradbury:
Influencer is a term coined to degrade artists who make popular content. Content is the degrading term for art made by influencers who wish you liked the other stuff they created instead.
While media like Severance incorporates themes like building a crib & losing a spouse, The Amazing Digital Circus has a “this is not my beautiful house. this is not my beautiful wife” cadence. Adult sci fi focuses on species survival. Cartoons have the freedom to say, “Survive? This!?! Why?”
Finished The Amazing Digital Circus. Was surprised at how many plot parallels it had with Apple TV’s Severance. Media for young people is centering on identity while grown up media still focuses on survival. The cartoon left itself open for many seasons despite the story being self contained.
Society will not punish those in the Epstein files but it would punish those who took that responsibility into their own hands.
Bart is after school writing a 100 times he should not do something on the chalk board EVERY DAY. The lie of 90s culture was a normal, happy family like Marge’s could produce such a child. This “boys will be boys” mentality ruined a generation of parents whose sons deserved Moms who would listen.
In the 90s Jax would be the Bart Simpson, the kid all kids wish they were. Here the archetype of sarcastic comic relief gets flipped on its head to reveal what type of insecurities could cause some people to be assholes all the time. Trauma is not cute. It should not be envied or emulated.

On a non literary note, my child HATED Jax. His remembered sin was unforgivable to kid brain. The child’s visceral reaction to this character’s behavior was powerful. The human development of self comes after wanting parental approval, whether it is given or not. Digital Circus is powerful art.

If you do write more about this, you may want to reference this 1984 animated film adaptation from the Soviet Union.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oxP... A soviet animation was made based on the short story. Its worth a watch.
how the fuck did I get a job doing math man I don't fucking know how to do math
GOOD NEWS! A new cancer treatment has demonstrated unprecedented results in a large trial for cancer patients whose disease has become resistant to chemotherapy AND immunotherapy. Tumors shrank in OVER a third of participants, with 15 patients experiencing COMPLETE eradication of their tumors.
There is a ironically juvenile need for every grown up sci fi show to have a hero. The main characters are trying to save someone, change the world, or procreate to continue this human race. In TADC we see selfish characters without a self. Generosity is explored in a space with nothing to give.
thats actually a decent take. cartoons get to ask the real questions bc theyre not busy trying to be Important Television. TADC went harder than most prestige shows ngl

Sorry i meant to say we need more celebrities to donate $100 million to suicide hotlines so we can call someone who will beg us not to kill ourselves when the state takes away our medication and housing, and then send the cops to our home if we say the wrong series of words. My bad.
I'm seeing a trend of people slapping "this is AI slop" stickers on these things in public and I can't say I'm not tempted to do it as well

Me to my grandchildren in 20 yrs: Used to be you'd go on you YouTube and the top video for the day would be "fart man takes a tumble," just a guy falling over with a fart sound effect. It'd get 50k likes and nobody made any money. Grandchildren: GET IN THE BOX GRAMPS, WE'RE SELLING YOU FOR WATER
Bluesky is a "liberal bubble" because fascist chuds can't get traction without algorithmic assistance and because people here trained themselves to block "debate me" trybois the instant they roll up
Bluesky's new CEO Toni Schneider on the platform's reputation for being a liberal bubble: "Yes, we definitely want that to change. It is already changing. It certainly wasn’t designed to attract one specific group of people."

Jonah Hill's resentment for being treated like a fat kid after becoming rich & famous for scripts making fun of fat kids IS a worthwhile conversation. Actresses have had their bodies used this way on screen for a century. This could be an interesting conversation. Instead he says, "fight me."
Dude accepted scripts making fun of fat nerds for a large part of his career. Now he resents us for it.
