Any topic not specifically OK'd by the Trump administration is receiving zero new awards.

By far the biggest problem with delegating judgement to machines is the people who own the machines can tune them towards outcomes they prefer but those who don't own anything can't. It's not the technology. It's a transfer of decision making power from rational accountable systems to capital.

We need to dream of a future. Not just passively believe in it, we need to actively shame people for formulating the position There Is No Alternative. It needs to become socially disadvantageous to promote that kind of thinking. Build models of the world you want to live in every day.

Yes, the world really could be otherwise. Yes, we can organize ourselves into a force that brings that world about.
That’s equivalent to almost six years of the nation’s funding for Housing Choice Vouchers, which make housing affordable for 5 million Americans.

Another classic post-Homan day where around school dismissal time we get a flurry of ICE vehicles all across our neighborhoods. Today one vehicle led an observer to their own home and pointed at it. This is a sick game to them, but we won’t be intimidated and we won’t stop until DHS is abolished.
