Picked up the latest @fusionfragment.bsky.social issue & the opening story by @estrubbe.bsky.social, "Birdguts", is a stunner. 🤌🏻 Always love when short fiction mags introduce me to authors whose writing scratches my brain in just the right way. I'll be devouring the rest of the issue this weekend.
As someone who is very deeply into preservation and archival work of media, this ain't it. It is one thing to have back-ups of media that is no longer easily purchased or long out of print but these are recently published, actively sold works that are directly tied to the writers and artists' income
friends, please: don’t use transreads dot org they claim to support trans authors, but take our entire texts, post them for free, fundraise off it, and have the gall to claim it’s about preservation they are literally taking money from trans creators and make it harder for us to keep creating
