Fuck the AfD and everyone who voted for them today. You should be ashamed of yourself. Fascist losers. #nazisraus #noAfD
Spending my Saturday playing around with Acadia. Feels like i'm doing a detox, no syntax highlighting, no LSPs, no LLMs. @acadia.engineering and @terezasokol.bsky.social cooked with this 👏
I am once again asking people to stop sending us security reports of the form "Attacker who controls input .ts file content has control of output .js file"
Today we got "if the attacker controls the .ts and you run the .js output, they can run arbitrary code"
cc @eslint.org @biomejs.dev @boshen.github.io. I don't know whether this is a problem you also want to take a look at. Or have solved! If so, I want to know how 😄

Acadia gives some interesting guarantees: - No 1+N queries. - All queries terminate. Learn how a query language from the 1970s (Datalog) inspired the key design choices that make these guarantees possible in Acadia's query language! acadia.engineering/blog/solving...

Let's say you have 500K €/$/£, and you must spend it on something that will bring you joy/pleasure. You're not allowed to spend it as an investment or for retirement, nor charity or to help out others. You also have to keep working your regular job until retirement age. What do you spend it on?
This thread finally pushed me over the edge to write a blogpost about something I've been mulling over recently. Thank you @oliviawhen.com! martin.janiczek.cz/2026/08/21/f...

So relieved that the Acadia release went alright! Thank you to everyone who is trying it out! ❤️ Very energized as discussions on the Discord get going. Lots of fun writing and programming projects ahead! 😊
oooh exciting! I loved Evan's work with Elm, keen to check this out too

This is the coolest article I've ever written. Genuinely. All of you should read it.
Compression and LLMs are trying to solve the exact same problem: predicting what comes next. @anniesexton.com's interactive essay walks us through the basics of compression to reveal its surprising overlap with every language model you've ever used.

Congratulations! I’ve grown to appreciate the stability of Elm and looks like 1.0 will be familiar, only improved.
