I have two novels so far full of trans joy, villain punching, rock music, lesbian feelings, and classic magical girl action. I'm working on the next book *and* on some other cool stuff, so why not support the cutie crew? Read their current adventures in ebook, print, or audio formats! magicariot.com

A graphic featuring a banner image of the members of queer Portland magical girl rock band Magica Riot - Sara (Riot Red), Claire (Riot Purple), Nova (Riot Blue), Cass (Riot Yellow), and Hana (Riot Green), standing in the waterfront park in downtown Portland amid the cherry blossoms. Below them, artwork for the two main novels - Magica Riot and Magica Riot: Full Bloom - are arranged side-by-side. “Magica Riot” features a purple color scheme and Claire posing dramatically amid purple clouds and the outline of the St. Johns Bridge in Portland, while “Full Bloom” features characters Iris and Bloom laying on orange rain lilies while touching fingertips.

Text on the graphic reads: “Read the adventures of Portland’s queer magical girl rock band. Trans protagonist, music-based magic, useless lesbians, thrilling action, found family energy, modern-day Portland. Recommended if you like: Sailor Moon, Symphogear, Pretty Cure, Power Rangers."

Glad you liked Maze Mice enough to play it for 141 hours and leave a negative review! I'll get right on adding *checks notes* a hundred more mazes to the game so you'll leave a positive review.

A negative Steam review for Maze Mice with 141 hours played. It reads:

I love this as a base to a game. It's very satisfying with it's gameplay loops, and a PERFECT way to get a quick steamdeck sess in before before bed. However I'm going to hit dislike becuase the devs clearly did not know what they had here and in my opinion left the game unfinished despite being decently polished. I'll upvote if ANY new content comes up ever.

I would pay twice the cost of the base game for DLC if it did the following:

Balanced items, make the more niche ones far better for what they are tuned for (or rework)
Add more synergy to items
add a way to gain points to block items from coming up (maybe at the cost of wasting a level)
add some more enemy types or even just behaviors for diff colored cats/ghosts
add counters for how many times each mouse won a game
add some kind of bonus to the mice for the item they start with, and even a negative in theme
make a late-game char that also starts with nothing like the first but has a heavy handicap with a fun bonus

I could easily go on, but this is a start to actually making this a GAME. A hundred more levels, a few levels with a tunnel from top to bottom instead of just left to right, maps with no tunnels, maps with a lot of full tunnels. Traps within the maps that come up fairly against the player, so much could be added. Surely one person with the knowledge of making this game could pump out some content and make you more money.

☀️ SUMMER UPDATE ☀️ Trinket Bag Maker new free update is now released on Steam!! It's a content update with 250+ new items & a cute whale shark bag! I'm obsessed with this new trinkets, I hope you'll like them too! 🏖️ 🐠 fish & sea creatures ⛱️ beach stuff 🐚 lots of shells

I think the reason I just don't understand permutations is, I want to know what's going on every line aand all at once and my brain knows its own limitations I guess. Nope is the answer haha ha .. ah 🥲 Ughs. Maybe I will laugh about it in a year. Hopefully. Aaaahhhh

Blue Bottle Games, as a policy, does not use generative AI. It's something we've discussed as a team, weighing the pros and cons, and ultimately, we decided it was not for us. Recently, while chatting with a colleague, she mentioned it was useful hearing our reasoning. So: Sharing time! 1/12

When another indie dev says they got 10s of thousands of wishlists that's not them bragging. That's them being stunned that they found a measure of success and can celebrate. When I say I got 800 wishlists, that's bragging. This is the most wishlisted game I've ever worked on.
