It occurs to me that all of this rush to sacrifice everything for A.I. is very similar to the Marx Brothers chopping up the train they're on to make fuel for the boiler to win a race. The main difference is that they were going in the right direction.

For decades, ADHD was viewed as a childhood condition that mostly affected boys. Researchers now know ADHD manifests differently in girls, but many still go undiagnosed until adulthood.

Ordered tiny wrenches and missing screws, so I can put it back together properly, and found (I think) the rare manual for the Baby Featherweight machines from the 30s, on ebay.
