A Receipt to Make Black Ink Take 5 Ounces of the best galls of Alleppo. Bruise them and put them to 2 quarts of rainwater. Let them stand 48 (?) hours being shaked often then add to it 2 ounces of gumarabick and 2 ounces of green copperas and so in proportion for a greater or less quantity
Would anyone like to try making some iron gall ink? If so, this book on miniature painting has a recipe for you!

Ahh, I see what the ad meant by the July date: On an August '04 scrape, there's a news piece about Volume 1 of the DVD releases rolling out prior to the Adult Swim broadcast.
She's so Number Nine… Two years after it first aired in Japan, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex received its Adult Swim broadcast on November 7th, 2004. Not sure if it got delayed from a July slot as the ad here seems to suggest it was due for. 📖: Electronic Gaming Monthly, August 2004
"Rena" sent this from Moses Lake WA where she is weeding carrots for a non-union company. She shared: The air is bad. See my cell phone. The AQI is 166, which is unhealthy. We start at 4am. We'll work 7-8 hrs & earn minimum wage. #WeFeedYou

I would submit that there is no place in the DMV that has changed as much as College Park and the Route 1 corridor in the past 20 years, more than even DC or Arlington
@justupthepike.bsky.social and i talk about this all the time, but the redevelopment of college park is one of maryland’s greatest present day success stories. walking home today, i really can’t believe how much it has unquestionably changed for the better
This is a cute picture of Thomas, but what I want you to look at is the orange comforter. See? It's very orange. We THINK it's from JCPenney's originally, but we don't know for sure. Most importantly, it's old and well-loved, and dying. I need to find a new one, same comforter, to replace. Help?
To be clear: If “TTRPGs” in your scholarship, teaching, & outreach start & end with D&D — or even GMed games — that’s a skill issue you need to reconsider. You’re gonna get left behind.
Not to toot my own horn but I wrote about a lot of zombie media that goes against the popular take that the genre is inherently right wing www.patreon.com/posts/158711...
Deconstructing the Dead: An essay about Zombies | Dorian Dawes
For a lot of millennials who experienced the cultural drought that was the aughts, the concept of the zombie feels like something that belon

I have been shown maybe one of the most ignorant takes on the zombie genre I've ever seen and I'm... I'm not mad. I'm disappointed. Some people, I swear, their knowledge of zombie fiction begins and ends at The Walking Dead.
Seahorsification. I skimmed the paper, this is the real deal, the species most closely related to Australyichthys are indeed elongate ropelike pipefishes! 🧪🦑

My take on boots discourse is that we face a lemons problem with many consumer goods, given the acquisition of many storied brands by companies aggressively milking accumulated brand equity for higher profits, such that price and reputation for durability does not reliably predict higher roi.
The important thing to know about boots is that Dr. Martens was bought by a private equity firm a while back, the boots are now garbage in terms of construction quality, but Solovair set up to make similar boots on the old equipment in the old factory and their versions are much better quality.
