NBC calls the race for El Sayed. They spent $80 million in outside money and numerous Democrats, including the Stevens campaign spread lies—which as a lifelong Democrat disgusts me—and he still won. Let’s fucking go!!! See you on the doors in Michigan!!!

Republicans like Rand Paul are lying to the public and wielding those lies like a wrecking ball, targeting academia and public health. He and the administration want to imprison scientists over what is very clearly a conspiracy theory. It’s the most incredible and dangerous thing I’ve ever seen.

Critiquing candidates does not bother me. In fact, appropriate criticism is necessary for accountability in our democracy. Dem promoters criticizing El Sayed have been almost exclusively petty and non-substantive, and it feels like there's Islamophobia and anti-progressive motivation behind those.

It’s fucking gross to mock Cori Bush for "the Capitol steps with her Cheez-Its." She was sleeping outside the Capitol to pressure Congress and Biden to extend the COVID eviction moratorium after it expired, protecting millions of renters from eviction. Bush herself had experienced homelessness.

The post reads: “Guess she’s back on the steps with her Cheez Its…”

Below is a photo of former U.S. Representative Cori Bush seated on stone steps during a protest.

She sits in a folding chair surrounded by blankets, bags, and snacks.

Bush wears a black hoodie and looks off to the side with a weary.

I want the Democrats to establish a Works Progress Administration-style group of people who come to DC and New York with sledgehammers and scrapers and take down the shit Trump has put up.

Missouri Republicans have relentlessly tried to destroy ballot initiatives after voters used them to protect abortion rights, legalize weed, raise the minimum wage, and reform redistricting. They are currently sabotaging a veto referendum that should have suspended the GOP's new House gerrymander

Missouri Secretary of State Comes Up With Reason to Not Certify Challenge to New Republican Gerrymander talkingpointsmemo.com/news/missour...

NEW: Missouri voters have rejected Amendment 4, which Republicans had passed to make citizen-initiated constitutional amendments effectively impossible. It would have required initiatives to pass in every congressional district—not just statewide—giving the overwhelmingly red districts a veto
