If people see you making money as a sex worker, they will try very hard to take it away from you. Both by institutions and on an individual level, sex workers are seen as not worthy or deserving of the money we earn, and somehow always criminal, even if we earned it perfectly legally

When performers do make money, financial barriers make it difficult to actually use it. Thanks to widespread financial discrimination and whorephobia throughout the banking industry, sex workers and adult content production companies are frequently barred from using common financial tools.

Now that I'm reading Sexuality Beyond Consent it's doubly infuriating because there's gotta be thousands to millions of CSA victims trying to fuck their trauma to work through their issues healthily, and the answer is to punish them for it instead of *actual child molesters who run the world*

Shit like this is why i'm so outspoken about fiction not equaling a person's morality. You can not like loli stuff, thats completely valid to not like something. But THIS is thought crime levels of insane. not to mention many survivors enjoy dark fiction to reclaim their trauma.
