New drilling isn't just a catastrophic signal of us stepping back from our climate commitments, it also runs against the geological reality of an almost depleted resource. Our focus should be on cheap, clean fuel for the future - not propping up oil and gas. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

I struggle to imagine, at this particular moment in time, how anybody would want to make our climate issues worse than they are. How many preventable deaths will it take for our politicians to carry out their primary purpose, the safety and security of the people. A fundamentally illogical failure.

VICE-CHANCELLOR ARRESTED. 🤩 Do we think *the regulator of the sector* is going to get some serious questioning why they didn't catch any of this? And why they allowed the name change -- which triggered alarm bells with journalists, but not with them? The uselessness of the OfS on full display.

My new heat hack - freeze a 1l bottle of water over night and then as you work, put that in front of an electric fan as you work. You’ll get a nice cool breeze and also icy water as you drink. Hope you’re all surviving out there!
