The Isle of Man ended up being only a tiny area housing a couple of demon bosses. I love how the bosses appear as these cute sprites in the over world 🥹 After defeating them we released THE GOD OF THE SEA *nibble *nibble* WHY IS EVERYTHING SO CUTE IN THIS GAME!! 🫨 #tenshinouta #blutoid

Continuing our tour of the British Isles, we met some adorable flute playing cats (sadly we had to put them down) and an adorably evil demon by the name of Malchias. We killed him (sadly) and gained his magic berries which we must now offer to THE GOD OF THE SEA! Off to the Isle of Man then #blutoid

I love that Tenshi no Uta is set on the British Isles, it’s one of charms of this lil’ JRPG lol My dad was raised on the Isle of Man, and we visited there when I was a child. Very beautiful in that rugged moorland kind of way. A good home for the ruler of the sea! #blutoid #tenshinouta

After running around for ages completing all the remaining puzzles, I have unlocked…more puzzles! Talos 2 is the most epic puzzle game I’ve ever played! It does not stop upping the number and complexity of its puzzles. Puzzles puzzles puzzles! If you like 3D spatial puzzles, this is the game for you

2nd figure I pulled out is the farmer class! An amazing + innovative class and I thoroughly missed them not being in EOIV. Again the figure is surprisingly detailed, and though the paint job is not 100%, it still looks cute. The stands are so weird lol My EO shrine groweth! #blutoid #etrianodyssey

Acquired a couple of relics. A manual for Runes of Virtue. It’s a game I’ve not played much but I’ve been looking for a manual for yonks, so I was glad to finally find one in good condition. I was also alerted to some Etrian Odyssey merch, so of course I had to swoop it up 🦅

Misericorde Vol. 2 more than lives up to its predecessor. Disorienting, darker, more sacrilegious; explores ideas and themes I haven’t come across in videogames anywhere else. It remains a visual novel through and through, but very compelling to read. The music is OUTSTANDING. Massive recommendation

And that's a wrap on Ys VI. Definitely a rough draft for what was to come, but I obviously love this vintage of Falcom, so I still had a great time and I'm glad I finally finished it after buying the English version at launch forever ago. And again, all on my Retroid, which runs it nigh perfectly. 😌

Tonight I watched "The End of Evangelion" at the movie theater. It's still a punch in the gut to sit through and the pain still feels fresh after each viewing. This was my 3rd viewing but is the 1st theatrical viewing. I also picked up the "OMEGA 6" manga. I still need to finish the video game.

What I’m loving about Misericorde 2 at the moment is how the game is constantly hiding, revealing and developing its characters’ motivations. Hedwig’s own development into a more active participant and investigator is also putting pressure on relationships, revealing even more…
