He hasn’t said the same about McConnell because he knows the parks police handle wildlife deaths
Not sure why the FBI would be involved with a heart attack.
I don't use AI for stuff I just kick it from my head, you know what I'm saying? I can do that, no disrespect, but that's how I am [ratatat seventeen years riff]
This is the kind of content I keep coming back to Reddit for
In a last-ditch effort, Senator McConnell’s staff have placed him in a sealed box with a vial of poison, the release of which is controlled by the decay of a radioactive isotope. They’ve also put a cat in there because they don’t understand science.
I mean, good to see, but I've lost a lot of respect for warren's judgment throughout this process - these were not subtle red flags and it was absolutely possible to see this coming your turn, bernie
ELIZABETH WARREN calls on Platner to drop out: “There can be no tolerance for sexual assault… With so much at stake, the best path forward is for Graham Platner to step aside as the Democratic nominee and address these serious allegations outside this Senate race.”
perhaps we should view nazi tattoos as disqualifying from here on out. i kind of assumed we'd already view them as disqualifying but was unpleasantly surprised so maybe from here we could all agree not to downplay nazi tattoos since they seem pretty indicative of broad disregard for human dignity
AOC not getting behind Graham Platner looks like a chess move now.
2 more thoughts on birthright: 1. The movement to overturn Roe and Humphrey's Executor was built over decades. It took an enormous amount of effort to manufacture that sense of scholarly viability (see: Teles, Hollis-Brusky). The right got 5-4 on birthright with a sloppy last-minute scramble
Apparently, you're not allowed to post: “BREAKING: The ICE agent who shot and killed Renee Good in broad daylight has been identified as Jonathan Ross by the Minnesota Star Tribune. I think today is a great day for Jonathan to be indicted!”
These are the exact words she posted: “BREAKING: The ICE agent who shot and killed Renee Good in broad daylight has been identified as Jonathan Ross by the Minnesota Star Tribune. I think today is a great day for Jonathan to be indicted!”
With seven decisions with the *same* 6-3 lineup over the last three days, I really can't wait for all of the hot takes from the folks who keep insisting that #SCOTUS *isn't* defined by its ideological division.
Show me the algae and I’ll show you the crime
Handful of detainments here by the reflecting pool. They are being done a variety of officers, including Monroe County Sheriff, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma State Police, US Marshals, a county in Texas I can’t make out, and a county in New York I can’t make out.
I can't speak for other people but I call Elon a Nazi because he walks and talks and acts and even salutes like one. Hope that helps clear it up.
somehow achieving a trillion dollar net worth hasn't left our boy feeling any more secure or beloved
In manufacturing we call this an “adhesive” failure. That’s to contrast with a “cohesive” failure, which, while not something you’d want to happen, is what you’d expect to see in a properly applied coating. Adhesive failures indicate that the stuff you put on was never really attached to begin with
An entire section of the Trump admin’s blue $14.2 million waterproofing paint layer has detached off the floor in one area of the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool, following days of chemical treatment by the NPS to remove the algae blooms
If they’d had it their way he probably would have left in handcuffs, so tears is actually the better option
A Muslim Texan sought to find his place in the party at the state GOP convention. He left in tears. www.texastribune.org/2026/06/15/t...
McConnell was the adult in the room in the sense that he was conscious of, and played a pivotal role in, creating the conditions that have led to everything you see today.
In just a few hours they could be saying things at the UFC fight like “I’m so glad Mitch isn’t around to see what he did to this country”
Sen. Mitch McConnell hospitalized, his team says
Musk's gutting of USAID killed hundreds of thousands, possibly millions. He has used his net worth to stoke hatred against people he dislikes and to fuel white supremacy. So no, I don't think he is uplifting humanity.
It's hard to be excited about the Artemis III mission announcements when the CEO of the company making one of the mission's rockets has spent his week inciting racial violence via his personal social media platform.
That’s fascist lighting. Once you notice fascist lighting being used, you can not unsee it. This is intentional.

Corporations, particularly publicly traded corps, are cowardly by design. It is our job to bully them to ensure that their cowardice bends towards progress and justice.
Yep. The value of corporations rolling out the rainbow carpet isn't what's in their heart of hearts, it's the society-wide signaling of "acceptance is good, bigotry is bad." Even if entirely insincere, it tells society "we think the majority of our customers expect this," and that's good!
