After being held in two of them as a boy, I fought for decades urging America to never again build concentration camps and put human beings in them. It breaks my heart to watch this happen twice now in my own lifetime.

Abstract Purpose of review: Biannual clock changes to and from daylight saving time have been pervasive in many societies for over 50 years. Governments are considering abandoning this practice and choosing a single permanent time. Recent findings: Our endogenous circadian clock follows our photoperiod, which changes over the year. The acute disruption caused by changing our clocks can affect safety (motor vehicle and on the job accidents), health (cardiovascular disease, drug overdoses, suicide), and human behavior (sport performance, generosity, and procrastination). It’s been a few months and I have a new update on SS1 disk reading. We ended up improving disk reading to be on par with loading from an SD in almost all CD-cores. All CD cores except PS1 = indistinguishable from SD. PS1 = edge cases where a game can be <1% slower.

Doing some testing of SS1 reading PS1 data directly from a disk without dumping the data first. It’s much better than I expected. That being said, copying games to the SD or SSD is still the optimal strategy for performance. It’s a one-time process and better for random access.

The debate over the rights of citizens vs. non-citizens entirely misses the point when you look at the actual text of the Constitution and its later amendments. The Founding Fathers already answered this question, and did so in a way that should have spared us all of this wrangling and argument.
