And cars. Reliability, efficiency, safety, were all a lottery in the 70s and 80s. Now you can pretty much get any car and it'll be fine. Same with personal electronics. Things needing to go to repair all the time wasn't unusual. People's complaints now were absolute luxury then.

incidentally we saw adrian lester’s cyrano de bergerac at the noël coward theatre this week and good GOD he is good. the play deserves to be sold out but isn’t, so you may get some good deals (we got decent stalls seats for £24)

Watching a YouTube video about Gone With the Wind, and the repeated referring to the author Margaret Mitchell as Peggy Mitchell is very distracting.
After watching Hoyte van Hoytema's beautiful IMAX film cinematography on The Odyssey, and this utterly lovely test Gareth Edwards did with the Sony FX5 before shooting The Creator, it really goes to show the film Vs digital "debate" is a load of silly bollocks.

4 shows on my docket this week. 1st one was the new production of Cats at Regent's Park Open Air a theatre directed and choreographed by Drew McOnie. Genuinely some of the most exciting choreo I've ever watched and an amazing cast. Highly recommend (it tours later this year too).
