In any other business model, this would be seen as a complete failure and would be left behind. Which is why I think there's more to why they're trying to push AI on everything. They're willing to waste money on it to do whatever it is they want to push.

My relationship with my mom isn't perfect. We disagree on a lot. Have different politics. Etc. But, we get along okay and actually have a decent relationship because she puts in effort to be respectful that I am my own person and can make my own decisions. What a shocker! I saw a new man vs. bear question. It was asked of women. What if you woke up and found out you're the last woman on earth. What is the first thing you'd do? Seeing the answers is harrowing... but also, I thought of the reverse. What if someone finds out they're the last man on earth? VERY different

Transphobes thinking we want to "trans your kids" and force others to be trans is just projection. Because *they* want to force their kids to be cishet. And I'm sorry to say, no amount of any kind of peer pressure is going to turn a cis person trans or a trans person cis!

I'm thoroughly convinced this current administration only picks press secretaries for their looks. The new one confirms it for me. She's peak Mara Lago Face and is definitely not good at public speaking or fit for the job. It just all the more shows how shallow this administration really is.

It's so batshit insane, and I have to wonder if anyone actually genuinely believes this. Does he believe this actually? Why? Someone told him? He made it the fuck up? Does anyone actually believe him? Or do they *know* he's full of shit and just don't care? He's an embarrassment.

To the Christians who are offended at the idea god may be non-binary/genderless... do you think god is male? Is he biological? Does he have a dick? I'm so confused. Not going to lie. When I was still a Christian, I saw god, angels, and demons as all genderless. So I am genuinely confused by this.

I've been saying this for awhile: AI is like using a forklift to go to the gym and lift weights. Yes the machine is stronger than you and can lift many times what you can faster and more efficiently, but that's not why you go to the gym.

Pretty much as soon as I became aware as a person. So probably around 5 years old or so. But it really hit home in first grade. I didn't make any friends. I was the odd one out about pretty much everything. And I never really tried to fit in anyway to the point my teacher was worried about me.

I'm an artist and graphic designer, and this fits my field as well. I actually *like* designing and drawing. Why would I give that up? On top of that, I've seen what it can do and I'm just simply not impressed. I like my designs more. I get to do a job I don't dread. Why would I outsource that?

I've seen an example where a parent finished their kid's coloring page using generative AI.... like, what are we doing? You going to have AI play video games for you? Watch movies for you? Read books for you? Actually... I have seen people do that. They have AI summarize the book...

On top of this, I *have* seen what it can do. A lot of people at my company are starting to use generative AI to build ads and send to me to check the size and stuff... they're all horrible. And I've seen what LLMs can do, and again, I'm not impressed. I don't need to try it myself to know that.

A thing that frustrates me is when people say, you just need to come up with a project to use it for and then I’ll see how great it is. Why do I have to give it a little job? If it’s so incredible, why isn’t its value apparent to the layperson?

I don't think the people at my job know what "priority" means. Because if everything I do is a priority... then ultimately nothing is. It's no wonder I have a hard time knowing how to manage my time... how do you prioritize when everyone wants their tasks to be a priority? 😵

Anytime I hear Christians (usually apologists) saying this, I just have to wonder what sin they think I wanted to do so bad that I was willing to give up my only in-person community and completely upend my worldview and understanding of the world. My behavior hasn't changed much since leaving.

I'm starting to become increasingly aware Conservatives, especially Conservative Christians steeped in Purity Culture, think SA is an appropriate punishment to the crime (in their mind) of being a sexually active woman. Maybe... they do understand consent and just don't care.

This is genuinely so sweet, as I can see the intention of the driver even if it was relying on stereotypes. But I also fall into that stereotype, even as a trans masc, soooooooo... 😅 But I think we need sweet stories of small demonstrations of allyship to help get us through *gestures at everything*

No, I don't want to "trans" your kid. I want your kid to be happy. I want your kid to get to know who they are without threats and boxes they feel they have to fit into. I want them to not actually think about gender until they're ready. I want them to play and have fun without fear of judgment.

I missed the part where banning trans people would create a magical barrier preventing cis men from entering a locker room to sexually assault women. None of the policies Rowling advocates for would have stopped this, which is already illegal!

I finally decided to join the REPO Discord server just to better keep updated on the progress of the game, and reading over the rules and TOS, they mention "no AI generated content." THANK YOU, SEMIWORK! I knew there was a reason I loved them so much. Best developers!

If I can give up my favorite store, find a new coffee shop, find a new restaurant to get chicken sandwiches, etc. then you shouldn't have any problem giving up a kids book and movie/tv series. If you can't give it up to show support for trans people, then own it. But know that we can't trust you.

I thought my hygiene needed some improvement. But I just found a clip of Asmongold bragging how he took a shower for the first time in 2 and a half MONTHS, and he didn't even bother to use soap! Just clawed at his dead skin. What the hell? Why is it becoming a trend for grown men to not shower?

It's always weird seeing the attack campaign ads where it says "this candidate is for they/them. Vote the other guy instead." And as a non-binary person... it just makes me feel like my rights and voice doesn't matter. That I'm the butt end of the joke. It fucking sucks.
