The reason RTE’s management structure is untrustworthy, and why their dependence on Govt money is toxic to their editorial integrity is that they settled their tax and PRSI obligations in full, whilst offering staff who they shafted only 4% of what they’re owed.
Same in FR, esp the cost of train tickets

Its hard to explain how brilliant an experience it was working at the Ecodesign Centre. For the first time in my career I was finally working on something I believed in and the first time working with a team who also believed in making Ecodesign happen.

On Child Poverty, the Govts target is to reduce it to 3% by 20230. Based on their flawed data it’s at 8%. Based on the international standard data (EU Sustainable Development Goals) it’s at a whopping 23.7%. Yet, RTE has only reported the bastardised data. Ask why.

Part of the reason I left the nw was the buses. Standing out on a windswept rain sodden road with no shelter and a 2 year old for a bus that often just didn't come was heartbreaking. Every bus that didn't appear was one more step for us back to the UK😥

All public transport should be free 🤷 We should be building railway lines not motorways. However people keep voting for a Thatcherite/neoliberalist government that prefers to tax the many so that a few can be rich. Always struck me how the conservative the Irish republic is, odd that.
No toilets on the bus either This is the Tralee bus so if you need to go to the toilet its a long time holding it on a very bumpy bus ride Not very inclusive 😪 And also running 10 minutes late 😬

A lot of Irish people are talking about how their experiences of living abroad weren’t negatively impacted by not holding a passport of the country they’d moved to. Think for one minute about the freedom of movement an Irish passport allows you relative to say an Afghan passport.
