Community Manager for Data-PASS JEDI @dpjedi.org, admin & co-founder at PCI Psych @psych.peercommunityin.org, and one of the people helping SIPS @improvingpsych.org run smoothly. Sometimes also a metascientist doing research on scientific publishing.

Beth continues to kick ass. So glad this kind of permanent academic position exists in metascience, and so glad @bethclarke.bsky.social is paving the way. Hopefully there will be lots more departments adding metasciencey people like her in the years to come! A pretty smart move if you ask me.

Within the next year, we'll be looking for folks to help expand this website into "ManyScale". We want to help you use this code to make your own repository for your subfield. SelfScale, EmotoScale, PoliticoScale, etc. If that sounds exciting to you, please reach out!

We made an open repository of close relationships measures. Our goal is to catalogue all of the published self-report measures in relationship science. You can help us expand the database by suggesting measures you tend to use in your research, or by uploading your own measures! relascale.com

What are people's go-to, stable diamond #OpenAccess journals for general or clinical psychology, which publish sample/methods description/overview papers? I have a study with a lot of moving parts, can't squeeze everything into one main paper & want a nice overview of the measures, procedures, etc.

If you’ll be at #APS26BCN on 28 May, come and see my poster at 8:15 PM in Room 116! I’d love to chat about adolescent mental health, IDA, and MNLFA — possibly the world’s worst acronym ever, as discussed on @quantitude.bsky.social.

I’m working on the revised docs for the upcoming beta release of metacheck and am looking for advice on what kind of questions you’d have and what level of detail you’d want to know about data privacy and AI use.

Hi all! Anybody know of recentish data on researcher perceptions of open science practices that ask questions like, "I think it's good for the field when studies are preregistered"? I found Houtkoop et al (2018) on data sharing, but am hoping for data on other practices and more recent!
