I can't get over how the gold medallions in the background don't even fit onto the spot where they were glued - they literally stick out over the beveled edge, like a doily glued to a kindergarten Valentines card. Temu Versailles indeed.

let's be real: plagiarism scandals in academia happen all the time (not because academics plagiarize a lot, but just because of how many millions of faculty there are around the world) and it is never general-public news unless the culprit is a member of a minority.

More people were fired for comments about Charlie Kirk (including just posting his own words) than faced any negative consequences during MeToo/"Woke" This whole thing about "did it go too far" and shit is 100% right-wing manufactured bullshit.

👀 Last year, DOJ charged David Huerta - an labor leader - with a Felony during an ICE protest in Los Angeles. They then downgraded it to a misdemeanor. Huerta then pled not guilty. And today, DOJ is dropping the case.

After multiple murders by ICE/CBP, Ds refused to provide additional $$ for them w/out reforms & oversight. Rs were opposed to reform and unilaterally provided more $$ through reconciliation. Now ICE has enough to run at 4x capacity through 2029 — w/ LESS oversight than before. This is the result.
