being non-binary in the 21st century is a lot like what I imagine being bisexual was like in the 20th century a bunch of people convinced you’re either cis and trying to be cute about it or trans in denial or coming up with language to delegitimize your experience as “half-trans” at most

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. Good-faith concern on this issue would be going, "hmm, professional sports leagues should probably have some standards in place to ensure trans competitors aren't getting an unfair advantage," googling for 5 minutes, realizing every sports league already has those standards and dropping it.

i don't believe anyone has "good-faith" concerns about trans women in sports in 2026. there's been too much time to hear the actual evidence, the actual people affected, and the role the debate plays in attempts to purge trans people from American life. anybody picking that side has made a choice

The amount of unchecked misogyny that I see constantly showing up in seemingly progressive spaces lately is frankly disgusting. Misogyny doesn't always come in overt ways like conservative talking points. Instead, the constant questioning of women and talking over women is nigh constant lately.

Today we would like to recognize Ken Sample aka Ken Cougar. A Black man who is credited with creating and coining the term "Fursona". While drawing one of his "Exotics" Ken drew a Cougar character that looked strikingly like himself. Attendees of this conference also wanted their own characters!
