Since we're talking COVID: Masks work, ivermectin does not. Vaccines massively protect you and help against long-term stuff, but you need to keep up with boosters. You need to keep masking; COVID isn't over because WE DIDN'T STOP THE TRANSMISSIONS in 2020-2021. Also many are still at high risk

what a lot of people don't realize is that you can still do, or say racist things unintentionally. it's ingrained in society/culture. and when you call them out they get all defensive or are like "wait that's impossible" cuz they're more scared of being seen as a racist then just actually changing.

hey, do we spot perhaps a very big issue here that is related to what is going to happen if you just make them push the data center away from your house (aka into someone else's) instead of fighting for international regulation for essential data infrastructure?

"By the end of 2030," reports NYT, the amount of energy used by data centers"is expected to quadruple, eclipsing the power used by all countries in South America and Africa combined." This is extinctionism.

Friendly reminder that these things aren't impacted by closing the Strait of Hormuz so maybe, just maybe, we should implement them to avoid being impacted by future conflicts: -Solar panels -Wind turbines -Battery storage -Electric vehicles -Bicycles -Natural fertilizers -Electric heat pumps
