Holy crap my R01 was just renewed. Literally staring at the NoA in disbelief. I was told back in April it would not be funded and I was mentally preparing to wind the lab down. Now here we are with the chance to rebuild (again, if you've been with me for a while).

Old e-phys trick... wrap EVERYTHING in aluminum foil. And then build a Faraday cage around that. And then hang some chicken bones inside the Faraday cage for good measure.
Turns out the stupid electrical noise problem I've been having with my research for months was easy to solve (wrap everything in aluminum foil)
