As @reichlinmelnick.bsky.social said, this is extremely interesting. I’ve wrote a lot about how insidious Englebert v. Boule was, and how it laid the groundwork for a fascist executive branch to act with literal impunity. It took an ICE invasion of our cities for states to get the memo.
