An independent agency, the MSPB exists to help protect the civil service against partisan interference. So it’s no surprise that the administration is attempting to remove certain appeals from the MSPB’s jurisdiction—again under the guise of “efficiency.”

Many in the government go above and beyond the call of duty, but OPM wants to limit the number of people labeled as top performers. To be clear, federal employees EARN their ratings. Setting arbitrary limits is another blow to hardworking employees. www.govexec.com/workforce/20...

Decades of cross-border stewardship and preservation of Indigenous history will be impeded.

Construction roads, lighting, and permanent surveillance will disrupt the wilderness character of the park.” Image of kayaks next to the river bank in the canyon. If you’re a federal LEO who’s wondering how to handle illegal directives coming from your immediate supervisors: 1) KNOW YOUR LAWS. Learn the laws and policies under which you operate inside and out. Memorize them. Find a way to carry copies of them. BE THE MOST EDUCATED PERSON POSSIBLE.

You called our concerns "fake news" just yesterday. You're backtracking because you know this new rule could hurt our heroes' access to care, and Veterans across the country called you on your bullshit. If you take Veterans' concerns seriously, you'd rescind the rule entirely.
