my Liverpool friend took my book to Ireland. I realize people in England go to places like Ireland and Scotland regularly, nbd, but part of me is still the girl in Baltimore County, falling in love with handwritten letters and canceled stamps. The movement of books (+ love) between countries is wild

I mailed a book to a friend in Liverpool, and before my ADHD ass could remember to tell them it was en route, they were texting me to say hooray I got the package. The postal service is incredible

My elderly neighbor invited me to some kind of laughter class. We don't hang out and I was confused. I politely thanked her and asked... why... After stammering uncomfortably, she finally blurted: "I hear it's good for depression!" I burst out laughing and taught her the term "resting bitch face"
