I think that's kind of a shame that Greg decided to get rid of all romance in Bionicle. Not only makes some character interactions and relations feel colder (which taking into account that they are cyborgs kinda makes sense), but it really made the introduction of a healthy love relationship -

Posting about the Bionicle films, eventually I'd have to touch on the whole "love isn't canon" debate that fan discourse still can't shake off. Since the plot in Web of Shadows revolves around a marriage and production materials reference romances, it's a frequent target of the debate.

Man, I cannot recommend this game enough. Play it, it's 6€ on steam and again: It has co-op, a good combat system and as a whole you are getting a cool experience now with more replayability. Like... Come on!
