Horses are engrained in cultures across the world in ways no other animals are. This relief shows Kanthaka, the favourite white horse of Prince Siddhartha, aka the Buddha. Present in many of his tales, Kanthaka died of a broken heart when the Prince left home to live as a wandering ascetic.
The false balance applied by @unicef.org in its message is catastrophic for human rights, as it needlessly equates the victim with the aggressor. Instead,UNICEF must name the russians as the sole perpetrators,given that they are systematically abducting,re-educating and killing Ukrainian children.
