I do think it’s a fun coincidence that we’ve got two series running right now with major plots revolving around Shiga / Lake Biwa.

Other companies said it was daft to build a scanner into a computer, but I built it all the same, just to show ‘em. It jammed all the time. So I built a second one. That also jammed. So I built a third one. That froze the computer, caught on fire, and jammed. But the fourth one worked!

Coyote vs. ACME is a wonderful film. Funny, lots of heart, and well worth your time.

This is amazing! SimCopter had a great soundtrack by Jerry Martin but the game’s files were highly compressed. Can’t say I’m surprised when I saw what show is trying this. Once a two-bit organization, always a two-bit organization. Application fees for tables (or panels) are giant red flags. If a show is that hard up for money, where else are they cutting corners? Stay united and tell them to get bent.

Imagine the sound of me audibly blinking. aslkdjfh I hope more doujin, small press, and zine events get super active and successful and then the big cons have to look at each other, scratch their heads a little bit, and stop fleecing broke artists/only allowing space for ones that can take the hit.

Last night I recorded a bunch of footage and an audio track to edit. If I’m lucky, I can get the EasyPhoto Drive video out before VCFMW. It’ll be the last video I make before moving. Good news is the new place I’m moving to will have a lot more space for retro stuff and more room for filming!

Sometimes I really enjoy leaving positive, constructive comments on YouTube videos. Creating any longform video is, at minimum, hours of work. Why not make the creator feel good that they tried? It takes hardly any time out of my day, and it might make theirs.

Am I the only person who appreciates the principle behind “thou even got the bells right”? Feels like it these days.
