The Pope isn’t condemning AI just cause he sees its manifold late capitalist woes and obvious issues of morality, it’s also cause of Silicon Valley’s ties to Opus Dei and their direct meddling in US democracy. I know that reads like a conspiracy theory but it’s not, as long as Peter Thiel is around.

It's not just Google Maps. AllTrails put genAI into their system last year and it has screwed everything up so badly I would never use it for hiking, purely for safety reasons. Some things require long years of practical, experiential knowledge. Walking in the 'wilderness' is one of those things.
