On the drive back from SDCC me and @bonecrusherjenk.bsky.social listened to the trek novel A Stitch in Time. And hearing Andrew Robinson doing impressions of the other ds9 characters is a hoot.

Every form of entertainment besides movies have some type of intermission: theatrical plays, sports (hockey calls their between-period breaks such), speeches, TV shows (ads/pausing), video games (pausing). Why are movies now the sole exception, especially when they're running 3+ hours long?
