Texas Children's caved and ended care under pressure in April 2022, over four years ago and they still got targeted by DOJ and Paxton. NYU caved and they still got served with a grand jury subpoena. Caving and abandoning will not save you. You have to fight these bastards or they will destroy you.

Again this should inspire wall-to-wall media coverage for months. The crowning achievement of the Civil Rights Movement is dead. Black people just lost all of their remaining political power in the South. This is a monumental moment in American history that simply isn't being treated as such.

There was ONE ATC in the tower at LGA during last night's crash. ONE ATC, at LGA!, dealing w ALL air and ground traffic, including a plane filling w a strange smell and no gate to return to. The Pentagon wants $200B for a vanity war, but our ATC towers are empty. Budgets are moral documents.
If ICE in the airports does materialize this should be yet another sign to journalists to stop using terms like "immigration enforcement" or "immigration crackdown" with regard to ICE. They are merely Trump's paramilitary force to be used as he pleases.

There are at least three major news stories about sexual assault and abuse of power by men in prominent positions this week. Government, labor, academia; the culture is everywhere, and women disproportionally bear the weight of the consequences. If this week feels extra heavy, be kind to yourself.
