If I’d used this justification (or the other — I believe it was something like, “he’s getting away and might potentially hurt someone!” — one that was cited by ICE) for any kind of use of deadly force when I was on patrol, I’d rightfully have been strung up by IA before I could finish the sentence.

Trump invokes the traditional definition of treason—providing “aid and comfort” to the enemy—in attacking U.S. senators, including four Republicans, over their vote today in favor of the War Powers Act resolution on Iran. Trump also pretends he won a war he lost.

So he’s accusing the Senate of… treason? Yeah, no. Members of our national legislature voting to enforce constitutional separation of powers is in no way treason, no matter how badly he wants it to be.

The protect the women and children line is particularly infuriating when you look at the rates of femicide in the North which are higher than most of Europe

Couple days late in seeing this, but the ignorance of this is just absolutely staggering. The groups involved in this unrest are primarily from unionist/loyalist communities. Their core political identity is rooted in being British, and historically, in violently opposing an Irish national identity.
