It feels weird to have, atop my résumé, “I managed a president’s socials for most of a year,” _and_ to mostly abstain from social media — but, like, it’s not Luddism on my part. It’s a judgment call on the net value of those platforms to society, and my own mental health. They’ve come up short.

The Republican strategy of blaming immigrants for everything that's going wrong with our system is finally starting to lose steam. It was a distant fourth, even when asking voters to pick their top two reasons. Far more voters blame the system itself: both parties, the rich, and big corporations.
