this article is good but I'm bemused by the person who proudly says that instead of asking ai they're using Kagi search instead. I looked into it cause I wanted to make the same switch, but it looks every Kagi feature is hacked together through LLMs they're paying way too much money for

Let it be known that I have caused at least 3 people to purchase decades old TV Guides because of this, buy stocks in musty TV Guides before it's too late folks (PSA: you don't have to purchase a TV Guide to participate but it does a lot of the legwork for you if you can't find a scan of it)

anyway extremely funny that a ton of people wanted kagi to be ai-free, kagi said no, ai lovers flocked to kagi, and now kagi is having to charge them way, way, way more for ai because it costs so damn much and most of the ai lovers don't know it yet

Been a while since I checked in but Penny not only never came out of her AI coma, but the account is gone, the blog is gone, and there's barely been mention of her. So I guess when you get bored of your AI kids you just quietly delete them.

I saw a Facebook slop post about men and women's anger in a marriage and it is the kind you expect to end with some AI image but instead it ended with this and I can't stop laughing at it

A really terrible illustration made up of bad MS paint style filled shapes, both people have basic :( style frowny faces, one is jumping with his arms in a Y shape outside of a door with lightning bolt shapes above it that say BANG, the other is someone sitting with a rectangle I think is supposed to be a laptop saying "also, remember 2019?", the text isn't even properly in the text bubble
