Have you noticed the tributes to Lindsey Graham don't cite any actual legislative accomplishments that benefited his constituents? It's a lot of "he was a strong voice" & "got along with everyone"- generic stuff you could say about anyone. His actual legacy is fluffing Trump & reckless war-mongering

1. Trump just signed a landmark nuclear deal with Saudi Arabia, paving the way for the Saudis to enrich their own uranium. Meanwhile, Trump's top foreign policy advisor, Jared Kushner, is being paid tens of millions of dollars anually by the Saudis That fact was IGNORED in almost all the coverage

Wow -- Ken Paxton and his team abruptly shut down a news conference and bail after journalists try to ask him about his various scandals

The fact that VP JD Vance and Richard Grenell went to Romania—on behalf of the Trump Administration— to advocate for Andrew and Tristan Tate, who by all accounts, were rapists running a coercive sex ring, then permitted them to come to Florida, should be a crazy, crazy scandal.

About Pete Hegseth’s talk about testosterone for service members … Rep Becca Balint (D-VT): “There are so many people in this Administration that have some weird, intense homoerotic feelings toward men, while also being homophobic”…

Writing headlines is hard. You have to compress an article into a phrase or two. And you have to fit an exact and usually inconvenient line space. Two images below: What the NYT is running on line. (h/t @jaywillis.net for calling this one out.) And what would fit exactly the same space, by me.

Two headlines:
As published. ( By NYT.)
Opportunities Narrow for Women as
Hegseth Blocks More Promotions

Would exactly fit the same space. (By me)

DOGE officially ended over the weekend. One of its crowning achievements was cutting $15M from the federal government’s screwworm monitoring program. Now, the Trump administration is preparing to spend $1B to combat the screwworm outbreak. "Efficiency."

Reminded that Trump was the one who originally wanted to ban TikTok after kids on TikTok reserved a bunch of fake seats for a rally, leaving an empty stadium. And then the Democrats handed him the ban (because they were upset that kids were saying mean things about Israel) for Trump to "save."

Trump posting on truth social about how he's "Number 1 on Tiktok" saying: "From Shou Chew, CEO of TikTok: “Attached are the latest numbers of the President on TikTok. All time views of #Trump TikToks are now at 425 billion. Also, 1 billion new views across UFC 250, Trump's Iran Peace Deal and “Happy Birthday, Mr. President" TikToks in just 48 hours!
Wishing the President a belated happy birthday!”"

And then showing an infographic saying that Trump has 425 billion views on TikTok.

Ford has rehired hundreds of senior engineers after replacing them with AI backfired and has cost the company billions of dollars. AI adoption is blamed for Ford being the most recalled automaker in the U.S. with 51 recalls covering over 11 million vehicles in the first half of 2026 alone.
