Rampant corruption in the Trump world is obvious and uncontroversial. But can we really say they are "abusing the public trust?" No. Because half the country extends zero trust that could be abused. And the other half firmly believes he's entitled, by definition, to take anything he wants.

My best guess is that Putin has long controlled Trump with both a carrot and a stick, helping keep his businesses afloat and then using that fact as leverage against him. Who knows if there's a pee tape. What's obvious is that Trump is undermining NATO just the way Putin would want.
