Apparently today is weedwhacker day, manuscript-wise (This comes hard on the heels of yesterday's writing session, where my copyeditor @elsbells.bsky.social had gently informed me that my event timeline made no sense; I ripped out my seams and entirely re-pieced that block in my narrative quilt :P)

However, when he uploaded his driver’s license for verification, OnlyFans informed him that his appearance didn’t match the marmots in the videos.
the most annoying thing about these people is they're demanding that you be half-informed and fairly useless at everything. the way we win is specialization. find your things. get SMART about them. get GOOD at fighting for them. someone else's thing doesn't need you to barge in knowing nothing!

I don't work for a consulate but I can and do pay attention to what happens on my street. When I can make survival a later problem for people, I try. It doesn't require exceptional goodness to choose to protect people and defy fascism in ways both dramatic and invisible. It just requires trying.

Tried to defrost the freezer to surprise my housemate before he got back yesterday (The entire bottom drawer's been a solid block of ice, thanks to ice dispenser fuckery) I figured I'd be fine, and sticking my head in the freezer'd help me thermoregulate My ambition was greater than my capacity 😬
It's been a firmly three nap sort of day First woke up ~6am to a VERY zappy storm overhead and had to comfort Disgruntled cattos Housemate's out of town for a LAN so I've had extra to-do's, but it's also been a myalgias kinda pain day But the fluffernutters are reveling in extra cuddle time

The greatest damage to my creative passion I've ever inflicted on myself was believing an idea I had needed to be original or "clever" to be deserving of existing. It doesn't and it never did. Others may desire to only consume things that are original or clever to them, but those are not my needs.

I can tell this isn't high school cuz: - I don't have my Emotional Support Euphonium - I've finally sat down and mostly sorted out the whole not-being-cis *and* not-being-straight bits - I finally got docs to take my godawful periods seriously - Health fuckeries mostly keep me in the house 24/7
