I've discovered THE best hobby. Just pick a town, join all its local Facebook groups. Then drive there one night with a job lot of gnomes and drop them on a few doorsteps. Then sit back and watch the fireworks.

My one piece of advice for this weekend: If you can find a day where you can be fully in your pajamas by, let’s say, 5:30, watching a movie, covered by something like a Phillies blanket, go ahead and do that. It’s going to feel great.

Slayer #1. Another new gel monoprint. Messing around more with painting in the spot colors and what I can get away with there and so far it is not as much as I want to get away with.

A gel monoprint: A woman's head split horizontally at the eyeline with the top and bottom coming apart to reveal a bare skull underneath. On either side of the head are groups of scissors arrayed out like wings. Below the head is a decorative frame around text reading 'Slayer of Men' and below that text in casual handwriting typeface reading 'Your Worst Enemy'. The background is bright red and printed in gold can be seen an array of medieval pole arms and various other weapons.

PSA: I am asking everyone to please use the ALT tag when posting pix. It only takes a few seconds, is the right thing to do for people with low vision, and it can be used to add extra info or even something funny (as long as you get the basic description in there first). Please.

Here's 50 things I made in 2023. Personal work, client work, random sketches I like, etc. Certainly not everything. I didn't paint as much as I wish I had, but I did a lot of client work, which is why I am still alive. So I guess it was enough.
