This is exactly the same thing John Sununu did while chief of Staff under Bush I, which caused a months long scandal resulting in Sununu’s resignation and reimbursement of the cost of travel.

The helicopter costs between $16K-$25K per hour to operate and is paid for by American taxpayers. He has also used it for multiple recent “house hunting” trips in the DC suburbs.

Boozman of Arkansas is now voting for Mitch McConnell, claiming that McConnell talked to him and gave him permission to cast his vote. The photo on the article here is old, from before McConnell's crisis. No one's seen him. No reporters talked to him. But people are using his vote.

We joined with over 80 organizations and thousands of volunteers committed to protecting abortion rights, education funding, and impartiality in our courts.
This is my in-laws district, but I'm sure they're not voting for him (unless I can convince them he's Irish) Thankfully, this is a solid Democratic district!

Joanna Whaley won her Democratic primary and will compete in November for a state house seat, beating a primary opponent who tried and failed to disqualify her for not running under her deadname
So a sexual predator lost his law suit, but has not found guilty under Alabama Law Congrats for the win but I wish we could stop the large amount of Republican sexual predators that used their positions of power to harm girls & women There ought to be a law with accountability and justice for that

The most corrupt, unethical AG in the US history will now take office after a sham deal with retiring Republican senators. Now this lawless DOJ will run amok with Trump’s criminal defense attorney carrying out his retribution tour against the innocent while the guilty go free.
Most of the corruption perpetrated by the Trump admin would not be possible without the complicit enabling of the Republican majorities in the House and Senate. The only way to put any check and balance on this out of control regime is to vote them out in November.
Blanche gave Cornyn/Tillis a fake deal, which is not a legally binding modification of the original agreement signed by all parties like they demanded, & kept IRS immunity, so they can surrender while declaring victory. Just more theater from worthless Republicans in the senate.
The MAGA right also was motivated to disregard a disease that first hit urban blue areas hardest, but thanks to their encouragement to avoid social distancing and every other precaution, eventually Republican counties suffered most.
