the AI search arms race is the new pivot to video & the internet is gonna be 95% keyword slop soon enough, but every time the search algo gets gamed it has to change how it ranks content. once everything is pattern-matched to hell, these losers are gonna need actual soul-having arbiters of taste
absolutely infuriating both as a longtime BV reader and contributor. start a blog and support your local cause literally everything else is gonna be burned to the ground by some corporate ghoul sooner or later.

there's a new (to me, anyway) "ai skills" setting in Chrome that has been auto-enabled, fyi. settings > "ai innovations" > "skills in chrome" > turn off the toggle, should you want to disable the thing

working with artists is one of the most fun parts of making stuff, even when you're just starting out and on a very tight budget! wouldn't trade the experiences I've had working with cover artists for anything

You can use stock images / art for your covers without involving AI-gen images. Writers and publishers have been getting covers made forEVER w/o AI-gen art and we don't have to use the tools of the enemy now.
